- 2/3 cup melted butter
- 2 cup lightly packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp. hot water
- 2 2/3 cups flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 package (270g) chocolate chips
Heat oven to 375°F(190°C)
In a large bowl, beat melted butter, brown sugar, eggs and hot water until smooth
In medium bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Stir into butter mixture until blended
Stir in milk chocolate chips. Choose any flavour, mint, white chocolate, butterscotch, etc. Form one rounded teaspoon of batter into a ball, place on parchment papered cookie sheets about 2 inches apart.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Let cool for 1 minute on pan, then remove to wire rack.
Makes about 72 cookies.
